FURTHER TO THE article Pensioners; Demo Just the Ticket (Oxford Mail, January 11), both Christine Burden (Sweet Memories Club) and I would also like to thank Stagecoach Oxfordshire managing director Martin Sutton and others who have made it possible for the No 16 bus service to be restored to two buses per hour, running through our estates, Donnington and Florence Park.
Martin knows how many meetings we attended with him and, as he said, “we have been listening to residents”.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Although it has taken many, many years of fighting, meetings, and petitions, we have finally been listened to. It has been well worth the wait.
