THE Marquess of Blandford had his driving ban cut today from four years to three after the judge heard he was a ‘changed’ man.
James Spencer-Churchill, 54, of Wootton Down Farm, near Woodstock, will be free to drive again from midnight on Wednesday, March 31 on the condition he passes an extended driving test and supplies the licensing agency with a medical report.
Judge Anthony King reduced the driving ban at Oxford Crown Court after agreeing Mr Spencer Churchill had “changed” in the two years since his conviction.
In September 2007, he was jailed for six months after admitting one charge of careless driving and another of criminal damage in relation to a road rage incident on the A4095, a charge of dangerous driving on the A4260 and a further charge of dangerous driving on the M42 near Birmingham.
All three offences happened between June 2006 and January 2007.
