Three men have been charged with conspiracy to steal from gaming machines in Oxfordshire and other locations around the country and remanded in custody.
Thomas Charles Wheatcroft, 28, of Merrivale Road, Portsmouth, Paul Hircombe, 43, of St Stephens Road, Portsmouth and James Hamilton Stanley Sharpe, 25 of Milford Road, Portsmouth, were arrested on Friday night at a hotel in Croydon, London.
The men appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday where they were remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
