Snow is likely fall over Oxfordshire in the early hours of tomorrow morning, the Met Office has predicted.
The county can expect between two and five centimetres of the white stuff and as much as 10 centimetres on higher ground over the Cotswolds.
Rain and sleet is also expected along with temperatures of around one degree.
Spokesman Helen Chivers said: “We are warning people in Oxfordshire this weather is on its way. It could be that there is just a lot of rain but if the cold air mixes in we could see snow.
“I think it will be a flash in the pan, it should be gone by the end of Wednesday and after that, Thursday will be a dull grey day with fog and Thursday night, fairly heavy rain will be coming through.”
