A number of Oxfordshire waterways have been taken off flood alert.
Flood watches have been removed from the River Evenlode, River Glyme, River Ock and Letcombe Brook.
Flood watches remain in place on the Thames from Buscot to Kings Lock, through Oxford and in the Abingdon area.
Also on flood watch are:
- The River Cherwell from Charwelton to Banbury and Oxford.
- The Bloxham and Sor Brooks, from Edgehill to Adderbury, including Bloxham.
- River Ray
- Windrush
- Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
A flood watch alert means flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. The agency warns people to “be aware, be prepared and watch out”.
