A TEENAGE girl rifled through a man’s pockets as he lay on the floor after being kicked and stamped in the head.

Rebecca Jamieson, 18, was jailed for two-and-a-half years at Oxford Crown Court today after admitting robbery.

Four people attacked market worker Nathan Dyer in Kidlington at 4.30am on April 24 as he walked to work.

Prosecutor Richard Sharpe said Mr Dyer, 19, was punched in the face and rugby tackled to the floor before one of the gang stamped on his head.

Mr Sharpe added: “Jamieson bent over him and slapped him to the left side of the face and went through his pockets.”

Jamieson, of Queens Avenue, Kidlington, stole his mobile phone worth £100 and wallet containing £125.

The court heard she had 11 previous convictions and was on a suspended jail sentence for affray and assault at the time of the robbery.
