FOUR people are in police custody following an attempted burglary at the Co-op supermarket in Charlbury early today.
The alarm at the shop, off Enstone Road, was triggered just before 3am.
Dc Mick Jenks said: “The offenders made off in a silver car.
"Shortly afterwards, four people were stopped in a car in Deddington and arrested in connection with the incident.”
The men, aged 19, 22, 23 and 27, were still in custody this afternoon.
