AT 90, most people are unable to get around quite like they used to.
Not so Phyllis Ayres.
The sprightly pensioner is still going strong, putting in daily shifts in the laundry room at the nursing home where she is a resident.
For Phyllis the prospect of an honest day’s work is nothing alien.
She started work in the laundry room at Sotwell Hill House in 1990 when she was aged 70.
An example to us all, Phyllis.
