Police are appealing for information after a series of break-ins on cars over two consecutive weekends in Witney.
Sometime overnight on Saturday, January 9, items were stolen from four cars in the Burford Road area, then on Saturday, January 16, a further four cars were broken into in the Tower Hill area.
Police only released details of the break-ins this afternoon.
Det Sgt Rob Hughes said: “We are asking for anyone who might have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area, on either weekend, or have information about these incidents to please let us know.
"Most thieves are opportunists and if they see anything of value in a vehicle they will be tempted to steal it, causing damage to your vehicle in the process. Remember not to leave anything on display and take all valuables with you."
Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Rob Hughes via the 24 hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 08458 505 505. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
