JAMES Thomas was at Park House Bed and Breakfast and Tea Rooms in Grove Road, Bladon, when the plane crashed.
He said: "I heard something come over the house earlier on but I didn't think much of it because we hear planes all the time.
"Then all the sirens started so I walked up to the top of the hill and saw a plane had crashed.
"You could just see a blot in the snow with flames and stuff coming away from it.
"It was quite a humbling, morbid experience, just to see the wreckage so close because it was quite obvious that there weren't going to be any survivors."
