Two people died in a plane crash near Bladon this afternoon.
Thames Valley Police said they were called by a member of public at 2.08pm today to a report that a plane had crashed in a field near to the A4095 in Bladon.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said a cordon was in place and Lamb Lane had been closed.
Police said two people had died in the crash and the Air Accident Investigation Branch had been informed.
Witnesses at the scene say there is a 50ft long trail in the snow-covered field.
The fire is reported to now be out.
There are dozens of firefighters, police and paramedics are at the scene.
South Central Ambulance spokesman James Keating-Wilkes said two people had died in the crash. There were no survivors.
