TWO people have been killed in the plane crash at Bladon today.
The light aircraft is believed to have been engulfed in flames following the crash in a field at about 2pm.
Witnesses at the scene say there is a 50ft long trail in the snow-covered field.
The fire is reported to now be out.
There are dozens of firefighters, police and paramedics are at the scene.
South Central Ambulance spokesman James Keating-Wilkes said two people had died in the accident. There were no survivors.
The A4095 Grove Road is closed from Lamb Lane in the centre of the village to the A44 roundabout.
A member of the public called police to alert them to the crash.
The Air Accident Investigation Board has been alerted.
