Police have charged a man with burglary after a house was burgled in Queen’s Close, Eynsham.
Wayne Axtell, 27, of Spencer Avenue, Yarnton, was charged with the offence on Tuesday and appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
Axtell pleaded guilty to the January 11 burglary and also asked for eight other burglaries, in Kennington, Oxford and Kidlington, to be taken into consideration.
Det Con Kevin Middlecote said: “I hope that this result shows residents across Oxfordshire, that burglars in the county will not be tolerated.
“I would like to make it clear that we will do all that we can, including working with our colleagues in neighbouring areas, to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.”
