Wheelie bin waste collections have resumed in West Oxfordshire.
The district council is following the Christmas and New Year collection schedule, which is one day later than the normal collection day.
A spokesman said: "Where roads are still icy we will be parking the large refuse lorries in safe locations and using a fleet of smaller vehicles to shuttle waste out from estates and side roads.
"We will be collecting bags of waste contained within wheeled bins or alongside them. In some cases this may result in bins not being fully emptied.
"Because of the current difficulties we will collect any excess refuse stored in bags alongside your bin.
"Black recycling boxes will be collected on roads that are accessible. In addition we have a smaller lorry picking up recycling from villages in the south east of the district as they have not had a collection for over a week.
"Because of the current difficulties we will collect any excess recycling materials, stored in open bags alongside your boxes.
"If we are unable to get to you, please leave your black boxes out for the rest of the week. If we cannot collect this week we will collect on your normal collection date next week."
Green waste collections will re-start next week. Trade waste collections are operating in places that are accessible.
The council's free Christmas tree chipping service has been put back until January 16 and 17, weather permitting.
