CHILTERN Railways is offering passengers holding advance tickets, who were unable to travel on January 6, 7 or 8, due to the wintry weather, to make their journey on a similarly-timed train on any day until Friday.

The firm said it was extending the period of validity of the tickets as a gesture of goodwill, because advance purchase tickets are non-refundable.

Chiltern passengers holding other types of tickets, who were unable to travel, should apply for refunds to the station ticket office or Rail ticketing website they used.
