What amounted to a motion of no confidence in the city council’s planning department was passed today by scores of residents who turned up to discuss housing plans.
About 60 people gathered at the Town Hall to discuss the council’s controversial Core Strategy – its planning blueprint until 2026 – and called for it to be scrapped.
