CHILDREN constructed their own ‘cabinets of curiosity’ inspired by the Museum of the History of Science, in Broad Street, Oxford, on Saturday.
Education officer Michelle Holloway said: “The turnout was not bad given there was heavy snow.”
The activity session, which was aimed at children aged between five and 11, included a special trail around the galleries of the museum.
Children were then challenged to make a cabinet containing items which might be seen by visitors to the museum, including microscopes and other scientific equipment.
