A REPATRIATION ceremony will be held outside Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital on Monday to honour the latest soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Private Robert Hayes, 19, of 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, was killed in an explosion on patrol in Helmand on January 3.
His body will be flown back to RAF Lyneham, in Wiltshire, and the cortege is expected to pass along Headley Way in Oxford and arrive at the hospital at about 2.30pm.
Members of the Royal British Legion will line the streets in tribute.
