RESURFACING work in Oxford's High Street will not start again until Wednesday at the earliest because of the freezing weather.
The 10-month resurfacing scheme was suspended temporarily last month to make way for Christmas shopping and was due to start again on Monday.
Oxfordshire County Council spokesman Paul Smith said the resurfacing work, which is due to finish in the spring, would start again when the weather permitted.
He added: “Our officers will be keeping traders informed.”
