Some Oxfordshire schools have already told Oxfordshire County Council that they do not plan to open until Monday.
They are:
- Beckley Church of England Primary School (Beckley)
- Botley Primary School (Oxford)
- Chiltern Edge School (Reading)
- Chipping Norton School (Chipping Norton)
- Gillotts School (Henley-on-Thames)
- Great Milton Church of England Primary School (Oxford)
- Grove Church of England School (Wantage)
- Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School (Chipping Norton)
- Kingfisher School (Abingdon)
- Larkmead School (Abingdon)
- St Birinus School (Didcot)
- St Swithun's Church of England Primary School (Kennington)
- Tackley Church of England Primary School (Kidlington). Pre-school also closed.
- The Marlborough Church of England School (Woodstock)
- Wroxton Church of England Primary School (Banbury).
- Stephen Freeman Community School (Didcot) will open from 10am - 2pm on January 8.
- St Gregory the Great Catholic School (Oxford) hopes to be open for Upper School Pupils on Friday - subject to review
- Fitzharrys School will be open Friday, January 8, from 8.30am-2.30pm. Parents should consult the website www.fitzharrys.oxon.sch.uk for further details
- Faringdon Junior School (Faringdon) has been open with skeleton staff to look after children whose parents or carers need to go to work
- All Saints Church of England (Aided) Primary School (Didcot) will be open from 10am until 2pm tomorrow.
- Willowcroft Community School (Didcot). On Friday, January 8, school will open from 10am-2pm and nursery will be closed.
