Police investigating an attempted murder in Bicester today renewed a plea for witnesses.
At about 8.10pm on Tuesday, about five men entered an address in Lapwing Close, Langford Village, and attacked the occupants.
Det Insp Steve Duffy said: “We have carried out house-to-house enquiries in the area and are actively pursuing and following up every line of enquiry to bring whoever is responsible to justice.
“Although no arrests have been made at this time, we continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact police immediately.
“I would like to thank all those who have responded so far and urge people that if they have any information to help with our investigation, no matter how insignificant they believe it to be, to let us know.”
Two men suffered stab wounds and a 23-year-old woman was assaulted with a weapon and jumped from a first-floor window, sustaining serious injuries to her back and neck from the fall. They all remain in a stable condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Det Insp Duffy added: “The offenders, who we believe are all men, made away from the scene in a car and we are keen to find out more information about this car.
“If you saw a car in the area, or being driven away shortly after the incident, then I urge you to come forward. This information could be the key to our investigation.
“I would like to reassure residents that we are carrying out a detailed investigation to identify the people responsible for this serious incident.
“I appeal to anyone, who has not yet spoken to police, and has information that could assist police enquiries to get in touch.”
Anyone with information that could assist police enquiries is urged to contact Det Insp Duffy via Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
