People in Headington South, Quarry and Wood Farm will have the opportunity to set their policing priorities for the coming year at a number of consulation events next week.
The neighbourhood team will be asking people about the issues that most affect their quality of life.
Neighbourhood Specialist Officer, PC Dan Godden, said: “It will be a great opportunity for people who live and work in the area to have their say about what issues matter to them most and have a real influence on what gets done to tackle those issues.”
“Everybody is welcome and we hope to see as many people there as possible.”
He added: “The team will also be visiting the local primary schools to postcode the children’s bikes that they may have received for Christmas, so if stolen and recovered, they can be returned to their owner.”
The mobile police station will be in Atkyns Road in Wood Farm on Monday, January 11, and Tuesday, January 12.
On Wednesday and Thursday, January 14, the team wil be attending Windmill Primary and Wood Farm Primary School to postcode the children’s cycles.
