Parents and pupils have been warned today hundreds of Oxfordshire schools are likely to remain shut tomorrow.

An Oxfordshire County Council spokesman said: "We are informing parents that they should work on the assumption that schools that were closed today are likely also to be closed tomorrow given the overnight weather forecast."

School closures will be posted on this website and our mobile phone site mobile.oxfordtimes.co.uk as soon as they are known in the morning.

Wood Green School, Witney, has already said it would remain closed on Thursday.
