Thames Travel is urging people not to use its services after 8pm tonight amid fears heavy snow could force the company to cancel a number of routes.
The Wallingford-based firm, which operates services to Oxford and throughout South Oxfordshire, has issued the weather warning on its website.
It said: “With heavy snow forecast from 9pm tonight, services may be cancelled after 8pm if the forecasted heavy snow fall occurs this evening.
“Our advice is do not travel if possible as services may be cancelled due to the forecast of heavy snow falls this evening.”
Passengers are advised to call the company from 6am tomorrow morning to see what services are running. The hotline number is 01491 837988 or see the firm's website for updates.
