Police today appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed by intruders at an address in Shelley Road, Oxford.
Between four and six people, with their faces covered, forced their way into the property at 7.20pm on December 27 and made their way to a bedroom, where they stabbed a 26-year-old man.
Following the incident, four men, aged 35, 28, 22, and 19, and two women, aged 21 and 45, were arrested and bailed until February 23.
Det Con Matt Welsh said: “The man that was stabbed received treatment at hospital for a single wound and was later discharged.
“This is a very violent incident which happened only two days after Christmas.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at that time who may have seen something or anyone who has any information to contact police.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Welsh via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
