1st Game 2 – 0
2nd Game 2 – 0
(Overall 4 – 0)
A very confident and positive display of football from Chalgrove saw them come out on top 4-0 winners at home to Abingdon Youth. Chalgrove dominated the first match retaining posession and creating several chances before going 1 – 0 up with a well taken goal from Harry Bond in the second half. The pressure from Chalgrove continued with Harry Bond adding a second well finished strike and with a fine goal keeping display from Dylan Lawence, this was just the start the home side wanted.
The second match continued with the Cavaliers playing the same attacking football right from the start and throughly deserving the 1 – 0 lead at half time from goal scorer William Lovegrove. A further goal in the second half saw Harry Rees finish from Aston Chapman’s pass to complete a good alround team performance.
