MORE than 500 people bowed their heads in respect as the bodies of six servicemen killed in Afghanistan were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital this evening.
The Union Jack draped coffins passed through Headley Way shortly before 5pm.
Repatriation co-ordinator Jim Lewendon said: “It’s about the best turnout we have had so far.”
