YOUNGSTERS are climbing, swinging and jumping all over their new village play equipment.
Dozens of children in Leafield, near Witney, turned out on Saturday for the opening of the new £185,000 play area.
Parish clerk Jane Denton said: “We have had lots of letters that the children have written saying how much they love the new equipment.
“There seems to be a real buzz in the village about it.”
Work on the next stage of the project, a skate park, is expected to be complete by Christmas.
