STUDENTS have been warned to behave themselves at an organised night out in Oxford on Thursday.
The Carnage UK event has attracted the attention of Oxford’s police after one of the company’s events in Sheffield saw a student urinate on a war memorial.
Insp Matt Bullivant said: “Thames Valley Police will not tolerate any antisocial behaviour or drunken disorder — and I would urge those students taking part in this event to ensure they behave in a sensible manner and stay out of trouble.”
One city centre landlord, who asked that his premises was not named, said: “The Carnage UK idea in general concerns me. We have not been approached by Carnage UK, but I will have extra staff on that evening and I have ordered in more plastic glasses.”
