WHEATLEY Park School’s descent into special measures must be very worrying for its parents, pupils and teachers.
This once-proud institution faces an uphill battle to restore its reputation and the confidence of all associated with it.
But if the reaction of headteacher Kate Curtis is anything to go by, there is real hope for the future.
She has refused to hide away and has instead come out fighting with a promise that the situation will be turned around.
We can only salute her forthright attitude and wish her the best of British luck.
