Summertown United U11, which plays in the C division, gave A division side Oxford Irish U11 a scare in the second round of the cup. Summertown settled quickly into their passing game and took a 2-0 lead. Oxford Irish came back pressuring the home side and were back on equal terms just before full time. Summertown looked like they had won the tie but the Summertown assistant referee got the Summertown referee to overturn the awarding of the goal when he noted that the ball had gone out of play during the move. In extra time, Oxford Irish made their pressure count and although Summertown never gave in they were unable to respond to the two late Irish goals.
Summertown goals: Aidan Bradley (2) Oxford Irish goals: Jamie Vizard (2), Dylan Cann (1), Patrick Keaney (1)
