Police today released CCTV footage of a man and woman they would like to speak to in connection with a theft of a charity box in Headington.

At about midday on Monday, November 2, a Royal British Legion charity poppy box was stolen from Salon Scandinavia in Windmill Road.

Dick Evans said: “The box was discarded close by and the cash had been removed.

“I appeal to anyone who recognises either this man or woman to contact police immediately.”
