Burglars forced their way into News Express in Long Hanborough today.
At about 2am, raiders gained access to the shop, in Main Road, by forcing the door of the property.
The shop alarm was activated and the offenders fled with cigarettes, tobacco and soft drinks, they left in a dark-coloured Subaru or Mitsubishi car.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or saw a suspicious vehicle in the area should contact police Det Con Adrian Brooksbank via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
