AN INQUEST into the death of Abingdon mother-of-four Julie Sudlow will not take place until next year.
A spokesman for Portsmouth Coroner’s Office said a date had not yet been set for a hearing into the death of the former Millets Farm Centre restaurant worker, who was found stabbed at the Hampshire home of her ex-fiancé Stewart Shaw in August.
Shaw, 45, is believed to have thrown himself in front of a train hours before Mrs Sudlow’s body was found at his Waterlooville home.
The couple had planned to wed on August 3, just a week before Mrs Sudlow's death. But it was called off after she alleged he had punched her in the face.
He had been due to appear in Portsmouth Crown Court a week after the tragedy, charged with assaulting Mrs Sudlow, 41, of Berry Croft.
Police have refused to comment about how she ended up at Shaw’s home.
