FOURTEEN men from Oxfordshire have appeared in court accused of being involved in a pub fight.
The men were arrested after a fight at the Moon Under Water pub, in Cheltenham, on February 7.
All 14 appeared at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday for a preliminary hearing and were released on bail.
They are expected to appear in court next month to enter pleas.
Paul Blair, 18, of Marina Way, Abingdon, is charged with violent disorder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent and Sean Keaney, 18, of Outram Road, Oxford, is charged with violent disorder and assaulting a police officer.
Benjamin Sabbitini-Oliver, 26, of Botley Road, Oxford, and Aidan McManus, 28, of Boswell Road, Oxford, both appeared charged with violent disorder and possession of Class A drugs.
Eight men from Oxford – Lee Arnold, 23, of Wood Farm Road; Tommy Bielec, 26, of Netherwoods Road; Allan Stimpson, 37, of Teale Close; Christopher Williams, 33, of Spruce Gardens; Sean Bone, 19, of Owens Way; Andrew McMahon, 18, of Fern Hill Road; Christopher Wayne, 34, of Pimpernel Close; and Tristan Hayle, 24, of Cedar Road – were all charged with violent disorder.
Jeremy Smith, 36, of Galley Field, Abingdon, and Dale Bowman, 36, of Compton Drive, Abingdon, were also charged with violent disorder.
Three men from Gloucestershire – Daniel McCauley and Richard Hamilton from Cheltenham; and Robert Hoskins from Gloucester – appeared in court charged with violent disorder during the same incident.
All were released on bail to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on December 18.
