Police say a white van may hold a clue to two raids on homes in Sonning Common.
Between 11.15am on Thursday and midnight on Friday, a house in Kennylands Road was burgled. The thieves forced open a rear kitchen window and stole a laptop and an iPod.
There was also an attempted burglary at a property in Blounts Court Road, between 1pm on Wednesday, October 28, and 1.20pm on Saturday.
Det Sgt George Bradley, of Didcot CID, said: “We suspect that these offences could be linked and are keen to catch those responsible.
“A white Ford Transit van was parked in the area around the times of the burglaries and I am keen to speak to anyone who might have information about this vehicle.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity to contact the police.”
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Det Sgt Bradley at Didcot police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
