A car was stolen following a burglary of a house in Faringdon.
The thieves struck between 11pm yesterday and 7.15am today when burglars forced open the rear patio doors and stole a wallet and car keys.
They then stole a silver-coloured Saab 9-3, which was parked on the drive. Police have not identified the location of the burglary.
Det Con Chris Leech said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact the police.
”We are also still trying to find the car, and I ask anyone who sees a silver Saab abandoned, or saw it being driven near the time of the burglary, to get in touch.”
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Det Con Leech at Abingdon police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
