Police are appealing for information after a Poppy Appeal collection box was stolen in Abingdon.
Between 12.30pm on Friday and 9am on Monday, the collection box was stolen from Lady Eleanor Court Care Home in Drayton Road.
PC Gareth Clarke said: “This is a particularly disgusting and selfish act where someone has stolen donations to a charity.
“Such behaviour will not be tolerated and we are doing all that we can to catch whoever is responsible.”
Anyone with information which could help the police should contact PC Gareth Clarke at Oxford police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
