Police today released CCTV footage of an armed robbery in Oxford.
At about 9.30pm on Monday, October 12, three men entered the petrol station in Oxpens Road. One of them jumped over the counter, threatening a member of staff with what has been described as a plastic gun.
The member of staff was made to hand over approximately £50 in cash from the till.
Det Con Matt Welsh said: “The CCTV footage shows one of the men jumping over the counter and threatening the member of staff.
“As you can imagine, the member of staff was left quite shaken by what happened but wasn’t hurt.
“I urge anyone with information, or anyone who may have witnessed this robbery, to contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Welsh via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
