I would like to comment on the recent action by climate change protesters at Didcot Power Station.
I know that we all need to do our bit to stop future generations suffering due to our ignorance in not trying to cool the planet, but we live in modern times. We need electricity, oil and gas to survive.
How do these people travel around to make their point?
They must be very dedicated to walk everywhere, without travelling across the country using trains, planes, cars, buses or taxis? And they must be great at communication without using mobile phones, Facebook, or Twitter.
Because if they use any of the means that I have mentioned, they are not true opponents of climate change.
How do they think the equipment works?
It seems to be OK for them to highlight their views without really thinking that they too are damaging the climate.
But one thing that gets me really peeved off is that I and my wife have to get up at 6.30am, five days a week to go to work, so that those students who climb up power station towers can claim their student loans.
Most probably got collected by their ‘caring’ parents, driving their 4x4 gas guzzlers.
