A man was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone and wallet in East Oxford.

At around 1.30am yesterday, the 53-year-old man was assaulted and had his phone and wallet stolen by three men as he walked along Circus Street.

One of the men was white, was wearing a grey hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and was riding a bicycle.

He was with a man who was wearing a black jacket, about 5ft 7in tall, aged in his twenties and has short, spiky hair.

There is no description of the third man.

Det Con Claire Argent said: “The robbers were seen running off in the direction of Iffley Road. There were a few people around at that time of night and I urge anyone with any information that could help police with their investigation to get in touch.”
