Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Oxpens Road, Oxford, in the early hours yesterday.
Between 12pm and 1am, a 19-year-old man was near to the ice rink in Oxpens Road, when two men approached him from behind. One man grabbed hold of him while the other went through his bag and stole a mobile phone.
The men then ran off towards Oxford and Cherwell Valley College.
Det Sgt Matt Jarman said: “There were a few people around at the time and I urge anyone with any information that could help the police with their investigation to get in touch.”
