Two boys have been charged with theft after the theft of a Poppy Appeal collection box.
On Thursday, two 16-year-old boys allegedly stole the collection box from The Fuji Image Maker in Buttermarket, Thame.
The boys were arrested shortly afterwards.
PC Russell Hounslow said: “The theft of any charity collection is a selfish and callous act and I am pleased that in this case, we returned the box to the shop.”
The two boys were charged on Friday and have been released on bail to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 18.
