OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

Patricia Harris, 57, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance on March 18 in Thames Street, Oxford. Fined £150, £85 costs and a victims’ surcharge of £15. Also given eight points on her licence.

Adam Ramjohn, 24, of Marston Street, Oxford, admitted assault on August 14 in Oxford. Given a six-month community order.

Christopher Doman, 24, of Catmore Close, Grove, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to report for supervision on September 1. Ordered to do 20 extra hours’ unpaid work.

Grant Desouza, 35, of Alpha Avenue, Garsington, admitted possessing a wrap of crack cocaine on September 10 in Oxford. Fined £200, costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

Leon Nicholls, 21, of Masons Road, Headington, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on September 21 in Oxford. Jailed for 10 weeks.

Richard Steele, 39, of Mortimer Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting food from the BP service station in Benson on April 25. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Monica Tagwireyi, 31, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence and without insurance. Fined £225, ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and given six points.

Benjamin Wall, 31, of Corunna Crescent, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of Lambrini from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on August 19. Given 40 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay £60 costs.

James Bisson, 21, of Sage Walk, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, affray and failing to surrender to bail in Oxford between February 15 and May 18. Jailed for 25 weeks.

Shaun Gurney, 24, of Sage Walk, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with community requirements of a suspended sentence between December 1, 2008, and August 24, 2009. Given an additional 40 hours’ unpaid work.

Joanne Way, 36, of Osney Court, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a community order by reporting to a supervisor on August 14. Electronically tagged to stay at home between 8pm and 6am except on Fridays and Saturdays. Costs of £50.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES' COURT

Phillip Watts, 27, of Orchard Way, Kingham, admitted drink-driving in Station Road, Kingham, on August 27. Found to have 370 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of urine. Given 180 hours’ unpaid work, banned from driving for 30 months, reducible by seven months on completion of a course. Also ordered to pay £80 costs.

Ivon Sorilla, 39, of Lodge Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Banbury, on October 5. Found to have 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Banned from driving for 15 months, reducible to 12 months on completion of a course. Fined £320, costs of £85 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

Jayne Stephens, 45, of Buckingham Road, Bicester, admitted failing to comply with community requirement of a suspended sentence on September 15. Supervision requirement extended by six months and suspended sentence by three months. Costs of £50.

Daniel Axford, 22, of Fernhill Road, Kidlington, admitted possessing cannabis in Begbroke on October 4. Fined £200, costs of £80 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £15.

Orlando Brooks, 37, of Laxton Way, Banbury, admitted driving without a licence and insurance, and failing to provide a specimen in The Windrush, Banbury, on June 12. Fined £270, costs of £500 and a victims’ surcharge of £15. Banned from driving for 15 months, reducible to 12 months on completion of a course.

Daniel Luke, 21, of Southam Road, Banbury, convicted of driving without insurance and without a full licence in Lockheed Close, Banbury, on July 7. Fined £185 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, and given eight penalty points.

Keith Bonner, 34, of Hailey Avenue, Chipping Norton, admitted criminal damage by destroying a Sky TV remote in Chipping Norton on October 2. Fined £325, costs of £60 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

John Herbert, of Sutton Lane, Sutton, 43, admitted drink-driving on the A4260 Oxford Road in Adderbury, on October 2. Found with 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Fined £500, costs of £60 and a victims’ surcharge of £15. Banned from driving for 18 months, reducible to 14 months on completion of a course.

Anthony Chilton, 23, of no fixed address, convicted of causing actual bodily harm, common assault and criminal damage to two ornaments and failing to surrender to court in Banbury between July 4 and July 16. Jailed for 20 weeks.

Philip Steele, 22, of Orchard Way, Middle Barton, admitted possessing an autolock baton in Middle Barton on September 11. Ordered to do 150 hours’ unpaid work and pay costs of £30.

Matthew Smith, 25, of Blenheim Drive, Bicester, was convicted of stealing a racing shock absorber worth £475 from Royal Mail Group Ltd in Oxford on January 16. Fined £220 and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

Lee Scantlebury, 18, of no fixed address, was convicted of failing to comply with a community order, stealing an Xbox360 games console, games, a bottle of Malibu and a mobile phone in Banbury between January 15 and May 28. Given a 180-hour community order and told to pay costs of £75.

Teresa King, 33, of Thyme Close, Banbury, admitted drink-driving and being in possession of a lock knife on the A4260 in Tackley on August 11. Found with 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Given a 12-month community order, six-month drug-rehabilitation order and costs of £30. Also banned from driving for 18 months and the lock knife seized.

Steven Hendry, 40, of South Street, Grimsbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Brunswick Place, Banbury, on September 4, and failing to attend court in Banbury on September 15. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
