A man tried to steal a handbag from a woman as she put her child into a car in Didcot.
The 21-year-old woman was putting her child into the car which was parked in Portway, Didcot when the man approached her and tried to grab her handbag.
The incident happened at 10.45am on Friday, October 23, but police only released details this afternoon.
The man was white, about 5ft 7in tall and was wearing a navy blue hooded top with white stitching by the hood. He was also wearing dark coloured trousers and trainers.
PC Eddie James said: “This was a busy time of the day and I am sure someone must have seen this man.
“I urge anyone with information to help with my investigation to contact me.”
