TELEVISION viewers will tomorrow be asked for their help in tracking down an illegal immigrant who police want to speak to in relation to the rape of an Oxfordshire woman.
Police have released this image of Michael Kiberu, 31, above, which was taken at the Lava Ignite nightclub in Park End Street in Oxford, on August 31.
He will feature on BBC’s Crimewatch programme tonight as part of a national appeal for information about a rape in Wallingford on the same night.
Officers also believe Kiberu uses the names Michael Buka and Paul Buka.
He has friends in Oxfordshire and London, worked in Abingdon and is a fan of Arsenal Football Club.
Dc Stephen Knight said: “He is an illegal immigrant and, despite following a number of lines of inquiries and a detailed investigation, his whereabouts remain unknown.
“Do you recognise this photo?
“Have you seen a man matching this description near to where you live or work?
“If you have any information that could assist police inquiries, please get in touch immediately.”
Crimewatch will be screened tomorrow from 9pm on BBC1.
Anyone with information should contact police on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
