A TEENAGER was robbed by a hooded cyclist as she walked along a secluded Oxford lane yesterday.
The 19-year-old woman was in Blackberry Lane, off Grenoble Road, in Greater Leys, at about 5.15pm, when a man cycled up behind her and demanded she hand over her jewellery.
Det Sgt Matt Jarman, of the Oxford police robbery team, said: “The offender is believed to be in his teens, was wearing a dark hooded top and was on a bike that had red stripes on it. He stole her ear-rings, necklace and rings.
“I appeal to anyone who was in the area yesterday evening and saw somebody on a bike matching this description to contact me.”
Anyone with information should call Det Sgt Jarman on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
