TRAIN services between Oxfordshire and London Paddington are still suffering delays and cancellations after a body was found on the tracks earlier today.
The line was closed near Taplow, between Maidenhead and Slough, shortly after 6.30am, when a train driver spotted a body on the tracks.
Two of the four tracks in the area were reopened during the morning but commuters suffered delays of up to two-and-a-half hours on journeys into the capital.
First Great Western operated a reduced service between Reading and London due to the effects of the closure, which left many trains and crews out of position.
Passengers are advised to check whether their train is running this evening at the First Great Western website or by calling 08457 484950.
