READ Mr Keshaw’s fairy-tale letter in defence of Oxford cyclists in the city with some amusement.
I had pointed out that not only had a cyclist tried to demolish me to avoid a traffic light (hence the pavement) but others in a pedestrian precinct and two on pedestrian light-controlled crossing.
Mr Kershaw, in trying to defend the indefensible, can only lead to derision but, perhaps in his defence the writer did not actually read my letter, or perhaps I have some magnetic attraction for bicycles?
P.S. I read Of Cabbages and Kings with interest. Your contributor sometimes mentioned Tony and his dalmatian.
I am glad to see them back again after Tony’s severe illness but probably your contributor knows of this.
