It might not look like a castle from the outside, but a modest four-bedroom abode in Walton Well Road could prove to be a financial lifeline to Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary.
The Victorian terrace house was left to the Stadhampton rescue centre by Vivian Kirk and is expected to fetch somewhere in the region of £350,000 when it goes under the hammer next month.
Sure, it needs some TLC but the money generated from its sale will guarantee the sanctuary’s survival for the next six months.
Things looked bleak for the sanctuary when the Oxford Mail highlighted its plight earlier this year. Let’s hope this house helps save the lives of many animals.
